Risk and Return Webinar Series 2020

Our Risk & Return seminars have been running for the last 6 years.   Every year we tour the country and deliver the latest information on ACC, health and safety, workplace claims, and general business risk. This year of course it is a little different. Covid-19 and the uncertainty with which it entails has made us a little wary of booking physical venues. So we, like many businesses are pivoting and making the seminars online, AKA webinars. And this year to make it even more special, the proceeds of sales are going to Mates in Construction, because now more than ever is a good time to support our fellow kiwis in maintaining mental health. Last but definitely not least, we have over $12k worth of giveaways (free stuff!) from the good people at Pracmed NZ, n3 and Manual Handling NZ.

Health & Safety (H&S) pre-qualification assessments are currently a right mess. There are literally hundreds of them and at times, a business needs to belong to multiple to satisfy their clients. This costs a substantial amount of money in fees and in compliance costs. All wasted time and money given that each scheme asks the same base things.

Tōtika simplifies this where you only need to register once in line with the risk of what you do.

Tomas from HazardCo and Marty from Manage Group take you through the in's and out's from an employers' perspective. Practical and to the point.

They will also dive into the 3 C’s (consult, coordinate and cooperate). Why? Because most prosecutions from Worksafe includes this (Sec 34) and it’s very poorly done in NZ. Tomas and Marty dive into the detail on this and share a very simple and very effective solution.
