Employers pay ACC levies to cover workers who have workplace accidents. It provides for both medical costs and for weekly compensation. Employers are also penalised on their ACC levies should they have workplace accidents that result in time-off on ACC weekly compensation and or if there are medical costs over $750.

Penalties can be as high as 100% however, employers can also receive discounts of up to 50% if they manage their claims well.

This is of course on top of any workplace disruption, drop in productivity, replacement labour, training and supervision, the list goes on.

This training is practical and will draw on your business' processes including recruitment, inductions / onboarding, health & safety, and more. It is ideally suited to people who are involved in the claims / injury management process, H&S and HR focused roles, employees at supervisory or higher levels, staff from accredited employers.
